Spring is always a busy time at St Peters celebrating Easter, the beginning of planting season and preparing for Vacation Bible School this summer.  There's always something going on here and we hope that you will join us!

CALENDAR FOR May 2010

Join us for worship every Sunday at 10 am.

Christian Education for all adults & youth will be held through the entire summer at 9 am. Join us each Sunday morning as we learn more about living a life of faith in Jesus Christ.

On May 9th - we want to wish all the mothers in the congregation and the community a very happy Mother's Day.

Affirmation of baptism, also known as confirmation, will be held for our eligible youth on Sunday, May 23rd at 10 am.

VBS is scheduled for the week of June 20-24 from 6-8 pm. If you would like to help or have questions, please talk to the VBS director - Cara Strubbe.

The new addition is completed -- now for the landscaping! This garden will display native wildflowers and grasses. Many thanks to our volunteers for the hard work on the garden.

PARISH HALL ANNEX

Nothing could have surprised us more that the Parish Hall fire on May 26th, 2008. The building sustained heavy structural damage but by the grace of God no one was hurt and the fire didn’t spread to the church building. The event brought us together as we remembered how our ancestors survived the sanctuary fire in 1971 and their faith and determination as they rebuilt the church we worship in today. The construction work is over and the result is a beautiful building all under one roof. Come see the new classroom facilities and join us for a cup of coffee in the fellowship area near the new entry.

The cross on the wall has been made out of salvaged wood from the burned Parish Hall building. The pew was used in the basement of that building. It has been refinished and is now a resting place in the gathering area near the main entrance.
